Clark Hall Iron Doors Shows New Door Features on Display at the NAHB International Builders Show in Las Vegas
We displayed our exclusive design features introduced to create virtually any custom door design style.
Our raised panel and leaded glass door shows the intricate detail that can be achieved with our iron doors. Historically this intricate detail could only be achieved in a wood door. Now homeowners can have the maintenance-free benefits of our doors with equisite details. Another design element was the leaded-glass. Traditional iron doors have scroll-work, but transitional design styles mix styles. Adding leaded glass is just one option.
French doors have also become popular not only for the front door, but also for patio and secondary doors. French doors can be made with flat-iron mullions or raised-iron mullions. Shown on the left is the raised iron mullions that have a more traditional look. This door is a simulated divided light, one piece of double insulated glass placed between the interior and exterior mullions.
The flat ironwork creates a more streamline look used to accomplish contemporary designs (shown on the far right) in a charcoal finish. The ironwork is placed on the interior and exterior of the door with the glass in between.
Also shown at the International Builders Show was the contemporary pivot door. Resting on a single pivot hinge mounted in the foundation, this beauty is sure to be a conversation starter from the moment you open the door.
